Every gesture we make, every feeling we have, marks us and identifies us.
My paintings work the same way. Each moment is essential and unique.
I began painting landscapes and maps, which led me to other ideas.
No more brushes. I used any implement that was suitable for the gesture and texture I was looking for.
Skewers, sponges, paper towels, rubber cement, tooth brush, drafting tape, hair dryer, cardboard.
Staining, spraying, erasing, rolling, scraping, dripping, splattering.
